Accessibility statement
Trading Vision is built screen-reader first. Accessibility is part of every screen from the start, not added afterwards.
How it is built
- For TalkBack on Android, and for screen readers such as NVDA in the web app.
- Charts come with a written summary, so you hear what a chart shows rather than a picture you cannot see.
- Prices, option chains and positions are read as numbers, in a set order, so the screen reader does not have to hunt for them.
- Your phone's text size and display zoom are respected, and meaning never depends on colour alone.
- Buttons and links are made at least 44 points tall, so they are easy to find and press.
- An order is read back in full before you confirm it, and nothing is sent without that confirmation.
The standard we work to
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA in the app and on this website, and we test with screen readers.
What still needs work
- Trading Vision is growing quickly, and a new screen can have a gap before it is found.
- Some charts and tables are still being given fuller summaries.
- In the app's dark theme, the link colour does not yet reach a contrast of 4.5 to 1; the light theme's text colours are tested to it.
If something does not work with your screen reader, it is a fault we want to fix.
Tell us about a problem
In the app, open the Settings tab and choose Bug Reports. Say which screen you were on and what happened - what you heard, or what you expected to hear. Every report is read.
